I looked up the French terms years ago when I started watching the French open. I've forgotten them!

So googled again:

  • Rien/Zéro: Represents zero points. A ThoughtCo article explains that "rien" (nothing) and "zéro" (zero) are both used.
  • Quinze: Represents fifteen points.
  • Trente: Represents thirty points.
  • Quarante: Represents forty points.
  • Égalité: This is the French term for deuce (40-40). Coffee Break Languages
  • Avantage service: This refers to advantage in, meaning the player serving has the advantage. A ThoughtCo article
