No. When he became sheriff, it was more a political office job. I did go out on patrol once with him when he was a deputy when I visited the US for Christmas. Nothing happened from what I remember.

Had a density bone scan this morning for my osteopenia to see if my prescription has helped the past two years. Then, I went over to pick up a different prescription followed by a quick trip to Coles.
Got four cans of my favourite coffee - Lavazza Espresso - for $6.50 each. The normal price was $9.50, but it's gone up at Woollies to $13. I've waited about four months for it to go on special. Who knows what it will cost in a month. Also, I got some cherries before the season ends and bao buns and rice paper rolls for lunch.
