This 60 Minutes story is so true. A cab driver once charged me the wrong fare even when I had a half price fare card. I once saw two drivers have a fist fight at St Vincent's Hospital over where one parked his taxi.

I no longer take taxis. I usually have my regular AgedCare helper drive me or someone else from my health care agency. My hybrid walker is rather large and I need someone with me when I leave my retirement village. I don't feel safe by myself anymore. I used to take Ubers and never had a problem with them, even when I had my walking frame.
