She's doing just fine. She's in good health at 9 years old. LOL. She just walked into the living room next to me after sleeping in.

My only concern is that she won't eat canned food. She's OK with Fancy Feast dry food, but she just won't eat any brand of canned food, and I've tried dozens. The only thing comparable that she likes is the Dine Creamy Treats, which I put in her bowl and add some water. She also won't eat any kind of dry treats. I've tried everything. She's had no bowel or urination problems, so I my fingers crossed.

I still am not able to pick her up and she's never been in my lap. She's far different to any of the other four cats that I've had. She loves to be petted and brushed, but I have to know her limit. She's never scratched nor bitten me. It doesn't seem to be in her nature.

Try mixing biscuits with wet tin tucker.

Joy has never liked being picked up. But what she likes and gets are 2 different things Always gets rewarded with some treat after a cuddle and she has generally learned to tolerate being held.

I said that the other day.

I have a great rapport with this class and two kids were saying shut up to each other
So I quietly go "why don't the both of yas shut up"

The look on their faces was brilliant

I had a reputation of being strict at all my schools, but the boys in my last school figured me out after I moved up with them as they progressed to VCE. I enjoyed being told that I'm not as bad as everyone said I was. However, I would not be able to cope with teaching today even if I was younger. I'd be fired for staring with Beelzebub eyes at a student or saying something inappropriate that might hurt someone's feelings.
