Yeh still here and with power. Everyone around us has no power but we are hanging on along with a few streets around us.
Was pretty blustery overnight particularly around 1-3am. Calmer again now.
Ive just filled up all my pots with water and the bathtub. I already have filled up all water bottles and jars that i have.
I have no doubt with winds to be stronger this arvo and overnight we will lose power.
The rain and flooding is the issue i am worried about as its sooo slow moving and dumping rain fast.
My house in the hinterland has lost power so i havent heard anything from my tenants. No mobile coverage also. I know before power went out a few houses in that area were destroyed from falling trees and damaged from flying branches.
But i wont hear anything for a while. Fingers crossed my house is not damaged.

Rolled oats are very healthy. I have them for breakfast sometimes. I soak them overnight in milk with cinnamon and turmeric. Cook them in the morning and add a little honey.

The guy that took down that 17 year old with the shotgun in the Jetstar plane was going to Sydney to see the Swans match 
. He is going to see Jake Lloyd's 250th game because he is mates with Lloyd's dad.
Still can't believe that the kid managed to get in the airport with a gun. They think he parked his car near a high chain perimeter fence and cut it to get in.

No federal or state police are stationed at Avalon Airport, as the capture of a teen who allegedly brought a shotgun on-board a flight sparks calls for a major review into security at the facility.
Both the Australian Federal Police and Victoria Police confirmed to the Herald Sun on Friday they do not have a stationed presence at Avalon.
