I haven't had snakes (or any lollies) for a couple of years, but I've never thought that the orange snake tasted like apricot. It tasted like orange to me .

I dunno, still probably more likely to get run over crossing the road to the beach.

Odds would then get way lower again if you use common sense like not using a sparsly populated beach.

I'm more worried about jellyfish in the surf lol.
