We will always be getting our balls broken over the schools $150k+ water bill.

It sounds ridiculous but when you have to use expensive mains water and pay the excess usage rates, to keep a massive oval and all the other quadrangle lawns alive in a hot place that barely rains in summer it's just what it costs. There's no 'fault' in the retic system and we aren't wasting any of it...
