Simon has read messages between himself and Erin about various topics, including changing the times he would have the children and an argument about whether Erin should attend Gail’s 70th birthday.
Simon said his parents were “really stressed” because Don and Gail were certain they had invited her to the birthday lunch but Erin said she never received the invite.
When asked if she was attending, Erin fired off a message saying: “I’d rather not go somewhere I’m not welcome.”
“What I reckon is that everybody forgot to actually invite me to this thing and I feel very very hurt about that and your response is to say I’m being ridiculous,” she wrote.
Simon replied: “You’re as far off the mark as you possibly could be on this … I get you’re mad at me and I get why, at this point I would ask you to consider mum and her feelings as she turns 70 tomorrow and it’s really important to her.”

Police were called to Point Lonsdale about 10am on Friday.

It’s understood an aircraft has crashed into the water.
It’s unclear how many people were onboard the aircraft.
