Hobart is only down the end of the list because I went there when I was 10. I do remember most of it tho, was a great holiday. Perth idk, alot of it was under construction when I was there and it was bloody hot. Still tho I really liked ALL those holidays.

And FNQ. There is just no contest really. It's stunning and I would love to go back

I've been to Tassie twice. First was in 1977 for my 25th. Stayed at WrestPoint Casino and did day trips from Hobart. Second time was in Jan 1983 with my parents. We drove down from Launceston to Hobart and up the east coast for a week. Will always remember Bicino. It was lovely.

The first thing I remember about Hobart, after going on my first flight ever, was my mum, dad and aunty and uncle trying to find a place to have a coffee, but it was after 9pm and everything was closed

That was 1990

Then the Salamanca markets on Saturday and Port Arthur.

Was it Perth or somewhere else

I lived in South Perth. Went up through Geraldton to Monkey Mia one weekend to see the dolphins with two former students who flew out from Melbourne to visit. Never went south. Wanted to go to Margaret River and Albury but returned to Melbourne before I got the chance. I loved Fremantle and Rottnest Island. That was 36 years ago.

My parents loved Tassie. It was summer and we had great weather. In 1979 when they visited me, we took a bus to Canberra and stayed a few days then went to Sydney for several days. Went out to the Blue Mountains and stayed overnight with friends. My parents flew out of Sydney to go home via Hawaii and I flew back to Melbourne. It was the May school holidays.

I was supposed to go for lunch with friends today(That's why I'm up so early.) but don't feel well enough. It's going to be one of my bad days. I've had an increasing number of them this year so far. Seeing my neurologist on Monday. I usually only get out once a fortnight with my AgedCare helper for two hours so I was looking forward to going out and having lunch for a change and get out of this place. Might catch up with BD since I'm up so early.

I gotta go for sure. I just remember looking up tours they were either incredibly expensive or incredibly cheap af. No kind of in between reasonable price staying at reasonable places
