We got peanuts in the peanut gallery..

A man in the public gallery has interrupted proceedings.
The man, dressed in a yellow T-shirt with “all we are saying is give truth a chance” in black letters, was seated next to the area reserved for the media when he jumped to his feet and addressed Justice Christopher Beale directly.
“How can you be a judge?” he said, as the jury watched on.
A reference was made by the man to “concealed crimes”.
The informant, Detective Leading Senior Constable Stephen Eppingstall, walked towards the man and ushered him out of the courtroom.

A war of words has erupted between Gold Coast and St Kilda after Ross Lyon referred to the expansion club as the AFL’s “nepo baby”.

Speaking on Fox Footy in a pre-game interview, the St Kilda coach was asked how his side would handle the Suns’ impressive depth that has lifted the club to its best start to a season in its history.

“I’m a little bit concerned. They’re chock full of talent aren’t they. The AFL’s nepo baby,” Lyon said.

Gold Coast coach Damien Hardwick didn’t hold back when asked for his response to the comments in his post-match press conference.

Hardwick suggested the Saints should be concerned with looking after “their own backyard” after a disappointing crowd of just 13,486 people showed up to Marvel Stadium for the St Kilda home game.

Gary Ablett Snr didnt get one either.

I think he was fed up over the AFL + the way he was pushed out of the league.
The Swans had a farewell celebration lunch in Melbourne that I attended for Goodes and the other retiring Swans players. It was really awkward when Gillon McLaughlin turned up!

Another special ops officer said Inspector Scott’s ability to “hit the target’s centre of body mass” was proof of her proficiency and character under the most immense pressure.

“She shot three times and hit him twice, right where he needed to be shot. It’s pretty impressive.”

Inspector Scott insists she’s no more of a hero than any of the other officers, paramedics, security staff, hospital emergency crews and regular shoppers faced with such unimaginable terror in Westfield Bondi Junction on Saturday April 13, 2024.

She says any of the police officers would have, and did, rush into the building just like she had - she just got there first.
