Went shopping to Coles and when we came back to the carpark, I noticed there was a white ute on a weird angle sticking out of a spot, and there were people standing around.

When we got to our car we could see there had been an accident, but we couldn't work out why the damage was so bad. It looked like the white ute must have turned in at speed and hit the back left of another ute. The tyre of the blue ute was punctured and there were broken car parts everywhere. The white ute driver then tried to reverse out and panicked and he just left the ute and ran away .

The driver of the blue ute was there (and also his wife(?)), and I spoke to them and they told me what happened. I said they should check with the businesses next to the carpark that have cameras because they might have captured the accident. Plus if it was stolen then they might get the face of the driver.
