Celestes case was even more scary- she barely knew this deadshit. He just somehow developed an obsession for her, stalked her, police did shit all as usual and she ended up dead.

Another very scary aspect of the case was he tracked down her address thru some pics on social media. Matched them up with I'm assuming domain.com photos, got her address, gone.

Yeah I tend to concur. For example I think Tom Silvagni should have got longer for what he did, but at the same time given how shithouse sentencing seems to be I was actually ok with it, at least he's getting 3 and a bit years I guess.

I once protested the Catholic Education Department when they wouldn't give us Catholic school teachers parity with government school teacher salaries. That had been the case until Pell came in, the bastard. May he burn in hell. We had larger classes and more responsibility than government school teachers, but accepted that as long as we were getting paid the same.

On the day of the state wide Catholic schools teachers' strike we marched in front of our college with signs and then went into the city to march from Dallas Brooks Hall to the Cathedral. We got parity. First time Catholic school teachers ever went on strike in Victoria. That was 1997 I think.
