The humid heat hitting you stepping off the plane in Hong Kong from a early morning winter at home was interesting enough but that was only about 30 difference.

The first time I experienced real humidity was Florida when I did Camp America. Never even been to Qld, nothing prior.
I felt like a tonne of bricks was on top of me, exiting the plane and I lost my appetite for at least a week. Just generally felt awful, until I finally got used to it.

Yeah i agree its awful.
No point straightening your hair in Florida thats for sure. Lasts for about 2 minutes outside, then- frizzy.

Even Sydney it's bad...(well bad for me). Was there for work early 2007. Straightened my hair...walked out of the hotel...FRIZZ!
Thing is you can't escape it.
Like standing in the shade feels exactly the same as in the sun lol. Jump into the pool for relief and the water isn't cool, it's like a bath. And at night time it doesn't go away either, pretty much the same as in the day.

We've come to the holiday house. It's a bit dreary and rainy at the moment.
We finally got NBN connected here. It's going to make such a difference for after Christmas with all the caravans and other people here on holiday. The last couple of years the internet would be so slow and it would take a minute just to navigate to the next page on big footy!
