Texted my brother in Phoenix for his New Year half an hour ago. He's been at a local casino playing poker. Won $1000(AU$1499) at midnight for having the highest hand in the half hour. Damn. Looks like he might have a good 2026.

Today alone I've watched a homeless religious 20 something explain what has happened to him, a bunch of cat shorts, people playing pokies, a couple of political shorts, a guy who cooks for a sorority house, a cab driver who goes to expensive restaurants in NYC and strange photographs. I also have a look at LIVE to see what weirdos are posting.

I saw her and Serena play doubles at the AO in 1999. I followed Lindsay Davenport back in those days. I also liked Todd Martin back in the 90s.

I saw both the Williams sisters play a few times. When they had the beads in their hair the noise was strange during the rally. I remember one time the umpire had to call a let because Venus' beads broke and fell on the court!

I saw Davenport too and Graf, Seles etc . I used to follow Sabatini.

Got a pizza tonight for the first time in a while. Used Uber Eats since the price was too good to pass up. I have a feeling they screwed up since a family seafood was only $20.50. It was from the alleged nicest restaurant in town. Base was thin and tomato sauce was the best I've had. Have more than half leftover.

Pizza is man's food. You should be eating one a week at minimum.
