As the minor premier Fremantle is allowed the full seven-day break from Round 23, then could enjoy a 14-day break before a preliminary final if it wins against Sydney.

This. Clarke is a pea-heart and shouldn't play. Taberner showed enough to keep his spot. Use Zac as the backup ruckman to Sandi.

Reid and Tippett will get owned by McPharlin, Dawson and Johnson. Sydney's midfield class reduced to Kennedy and Mitchell vs Fyfe, Mundy, Barlow, Neale and Hill.

I think Reid may play back again, either way he's one of those generally maligned players who usually do well against us. Tippett was good last time we played. I will say I'm confident a rested McPharlin can hold a less than fully fit Buddy at bay, and as you say we should have a decisive advantage in the middle.
