Need help to fill out this list as far as possible:

2010 - Tyson Goldsack (Coll) - ran off the bench when the ball was brought forward on the other side of the ground and got loose, marked Travis Cloke's kick and nailed it from close range.

2009 - Max Rooke (Geel) - tackled Raphael Clarke, holding the ball, got up, played on and goaled on the run from 45m.

2008 - Tom Lonergan (Geel) - Set shot, mark on lead.

2007 - Cameron Mooney (Geel) - In goal square?

2006 - Ashley Hansen (WCE) - Mark on Members flank (Rowan Jones set up with the handpass).

2005 - Mark Nicoski (WCE) - On the run, Olympic Stand side, off a couple steps from 50 after hands out from a pack.

2004 - Josh Carr (Port) - On the run, trademark left foot.

2003 - Alistair Lynch (Bris) - Tossed Wakelin aside in goal square from deep Simon Black kick.

2002 - Anthony Rocca (Coll) - Fraser hooked the kick to Licuria who waited patiently until Rocca juggled a grab in the wet on the boundary, 50m out, in front of the Olympic Stand.

2001 - Alistair Lynch (Bris) - Second shot for the day, from a mark inside 50m vs Fletcher.

2000 - James Hird (Ess) - Snap off hands from close range, Punt Road end.

1999 - Brett Ratten (Carl) - Cleaned up David King's poor kick out on the run.

1998 - John Blakey (NM) - On the run?

1997 - Jason Heatley (StK) - Mark inside 50m after Jarman missed some early snaps.

1996 - Tony Lockett (Syd) - Mark on the lead, 50m, 45 degrees in first minute or so.

1995 - Craig Bradley goal from 50m on Southern Stand side after a smother, Punt Rd end

1994

1993 - Paul Salmon (Ess) - Mark on lead Ponsford End against Silvagni, ree kick for holding, about 35 out slight angle.

1992

1991 - Peter Sumich (WCE)?

1990 - Paul Salmon (Ess) - Outmarked Craig Kelly after Pies missed two shots earlier.

1989 - Gary Ablett Snr (Geel)

I'm not 100% on Mooney in 07 nor Blakey in 98 (if not, it was Carey, I think. I'm pretty sure these are right, though).

Help fill it in as far back as we can. Also, see if you can recall how it was kicked. ;)

Good list mate, you got 2005 wrong though.

Nicoski kicked the first goal in 2005, off a couple steps from 50 after hands out from a pack. It was the Olympic stand side though.

According to the Footy Record for the 1977 Grand Final replay, the first goal of the drawn grand final indeed was kicked by David Dench. It came after 8 minutes, 14 seconds after he took a mark and played on. He was 65 yards from goal, which equals 59.4 metres if I have my conversion correct. He was on the right hand side of goal at a 45 degree angle.

2009 - Max Rooke, free kick winning holding the ball, set shot from 50-odd metres.

=/

1988: Peter SCHWAB (HAW), on run from 50 after recieving handball from James Morrissey from ball-up

1986: Jason DUNSTALL (HAW), mark 10m out, set shot.

1984: Leigh MATTHEWS (HAW), gather, breaks tackle, goals on run from 25m.

1983: richard loveridge - marked a kick from Rodney Eade, played on from the square for the first one, this was at the Punt Road end.

1978: Michael Moncrieff - marked on a lead against Glendenning, also kicked the second the same way, about 30 metres out, southern stand side, city end goals.

Can anyone tell me who kicked the first goal in the 2010 drawn grand final? I know it was Goldsack in the replay.
