Haha no thanks.
I'd trade it for Goldstein.
You'd have to chuck a fair bit more than that.
This is one though I reckon you'd be wise to hang onto for a few years.

Bock is a better player than Brown, for sure
Geelong must be licking their lips at the compo that Ablett will deliver.
Two first round picks easy.
I still don't understand how it works.
Say Geel do get that. Two at the end of the first round.
And want to use them both this draft. And you want use yours.
How do they figure out which of the 3 picks comes first?

It's the same pick as Bock, it's not a first round 'after our first selection pick' it's an end of first round pick. It's end of first round regardless of what year we use it, it's just that the number will be lower if it's used in the 2012 draft or later. We might get a pick 17 for it, if we're patient.
Geez, even when Brown's not with us anymore, he still gives 150% (...of his value...)
That is an absolute disgrace.
Bock is twice the player brown is.
It just makes me want to cry!
Glass half-empty sort of man ey?Don't everyone get confused. This is a beginning of the second round pick. Not the end of the first round.
Must use it after 2012 only....
Go Hawks!

HAWTHORN will receive a draft pick at the end of the first round to use in one of the next five drafts as compensation for losing Campbell Brown to Gold Coast.
If the Hawks choose to use the pick in this year's draft, they must notify the AFL by November 5.
The compensation offered to the Hawks was the same as Adelaide received for losing Nathan Bock and the Brisbane Lions received for losing Michael Rischitelli.
Not sure where you are getting that information from LE, this is from the AFL Website regarding our compensation.

You lot are all idiots.......
Last year Port Adelaide wanted 2 first round draft picks for S.Burgoyne, and if you remember rightly, they were interested in taking our first rounder plus Campbell Brown (much to the dismay of the members).
So on that rationale.....Campbell Brown = first round pick. The fact he has been graded as band 3 is probably fair, not generous as some would like to think. To think that we got the deal of the century is just plain ******ed.......
If anything, Bock should have been worth a Band 2....which is a first round pick taken immediately after the clubs standard first round pick. Whilst Brown isnt half the player that Bock is, he is a year or so younger, an all Australian and premiership player......and wages offer by GC to these 2 players is similar.
Rest assured also, G.Ablett if he goes, will be a band one.....2 first round picks.....I believe to be taken immediately after the clubs standard first rounder for the draft they use the pick.
And any clown that thinks we need to use our picks to get Chris Tarrant, a 30 year old, injury prone hack that isnt even sure if he wants to play footy next year is doing the club a significant injustice. I just hope that Pelchan and Clarko have an ounce of sense and quash this quick smart.
Lets back our players, and top up with some younger talent rather than applying the Brisbane Lions model.
I think it is then judged on ladder position for that year. So the team finishing lower on the ladder would get the first pick.
