A lot harder than i thought it would be!!!

I will presume the best team available will be selected.

Based on last weeks top 25, i would presume the top 5 have done enough work to guarantee themselves selection whilst the next 5 would almost be in. This means the following will DEFINETLY be in the team.
1. Nathan Foley 4029
2. Brett Deledio 3905
3. Cam Howat 3836
4. Andrew Krakouer 3511
5. Richard Tambling 3484

And these guys most likely:
6. Greg Tivendale 3465
7. Kayne Pettifer 3449
8. Kane Johnson 3448
9. Shane Tuck 3434
10. Joel Bowden 3400

That leaves:
11. Matthew White 3374
12. Patrick Bowden 3359
13. Andrew Raines 3358
14. Graham Polak 3347
15. Chris Newman 3326
16. Kelvin Moore 3301
17. Nathan Brown 3291
18. Daniel Jackson 3207
19. Angus Graham 3185
20. Dean Polo 3183
21. Matthew Richardson 3181
22. Brent Hartigan 3151
23. Adam Pattison 3136
24. Luke McGuane 3086
25. Danny Meyer 2981

of which you'd automatically select
12. Patrick Bowden, 13. Andrew Raines, 14. Graham Polak, 17. Nathan Brown, 20. Dean Polo, 21. Matthew Richardson

FB: Polo Gaspar Raines
HB: P.Bowden J.Bowden Deledio
C: Howat Johnson Tivendale
HF: Tambling Richo Pettifer
FF: Brown Polak Krakouer

R: Knobel Foley Tuck

I: Graham (backup ruckman), Moore, White, Hartigan, Newman, Edwards OR Reiwoldt,

Injured: Hyde, Simmo, Patto, Kingsley, Hall, Thursty,

if deledio starts on a flank or even worse on a back flank it will be a backward step imo

you put your best players in the middle and last yr was a learning experience which should do him well this year

griffen is moving to the midfield finally but we want to put our gun kids on half back flanks forget it

Bit hard to come home with the points in a NAB Cup game :p

Maybe so however Come the home and away our game will be the same result as the one last year ;) now that was good stuff. Win or Lose both of our sides have to travel the week later. Bloody afl suck :(

Agree. I want to see Lids start in the guts. Show us what you're made of young gun.

Really looking forward to the game . I am a new Tiger member , we joined when Kent joined the club as we are close friends and he organised our memberships . We didnt like how he was treated down there last year by certain people. Looking forward to the game Sunday but he wont be playing. Saw Geelongs practice match yesterday the one we have to watch is Ottens , never seen him in this form before.

Hopefully I can get down there, good luck you guys! Itching for the footy to start up again!!!! Should be a decent crowd for a NAB Cup game.

the reason why i post here is to add quality to somewhat mediocre bordering on crap posting

cheers goldust

Have to make a trip to Separation Creek (from Melbourne) in the morning but am hoping to catch the second half on the way back to town. Might even make it by 1/4 time given that the game doesn't start till 3:40pm. :)

Here's my crack at the team for Sunday. Those who didn't qualify via the NAB 15 challenge are in bold. I think you're allowed 6 interchange for NAB Cup matches?

B:Raines Moore Newman
HB: Johnson J. Bowden P. Bowden
C:Tambling Tuck Howat
HF:Tivendale Hughes Pettifer
F: Krakouer Richo Brown
R:Knobel Deledio Foley
IC: Gaspar, Hyde, White, Polak, Hall, Polo

E: Meyer, Jackson, Hartigan

What are your opinions on Kelvin Moore? I haven't seen much of him and am curious about whether he has a future at the Tigers or not.

very divided, some like me believe he has the tools to be a decent KP backman for us, tall, quick and has the fundamental skills to be able to go with the fast leading forwards. However he's been on our list long enough for us to demand he either sink or swim this season, he's gotten his body right now its up to him bc he'll get his chance.

I think that is spot on. He has been around for a while, but i think now that he has obviously got his body better prepared and also had a big pre-season, he is ready to take the next step. I personally think he will have a great year.:thumbsu:

None of us has seen much of him because he's either injured or simply not in our best 22.
