You can filter the categories mate. Im in the Giants supporter bays near the cheer squad.
Good to know that now... :p

TM blocked my PC for "reasons" so had to do it all on my phone in limited time, was so used to "take what you can get" I didn't think to check categories.

haha sorry mate, didn't know myself. They originally stuck me in the sun so went back and noticed that when you select number of tickets you can filter categories.

Good luck to everyone getting their tickets!

I can’t make it now :( Devastated. I’m going to look back and be really filthy for not taking these opportunities. Should they win I’m going to do my best to make the SF.

Go the Giants!

What are we thinking the crowd number will be?
Hopefully full house or pretty damn close. Surely Hawks fans will travel - they will think that they can win against us, and it's a gentle 1-hour flight or 10-hour drive, Saturday afternoon timeslot so everything helps them to travel.

And surely we'll get a decent turn out from Giants fans.

What’s interesting is the tv side where the sun is is usually the bays that are open to the public the most, yet all blacked out.
No doubt that the Vincent Sinclair and Sutton stands probably haven’t been opened yet. But the tv side probably were open from the beginning as that’s where we are usually forced to.

What are we thinking the crowd number will be?
We have played just 4 final matches at Giants Stadium in our history, and the average attendance has been 18,557. The crowd has ranged from 21,790 (Bulldogs 2016 PF) to 14,865 (West Coast 2017 SF) - so I would think about 18k-19k given its Hawthorn?

On the other hand of the 6 matches we have played Hawthorn in our history at Giants Stadium, only 3 have drawn crowds of over 10k, with the highest ever attendance being 13,766. But then this is an elimination final, and some Hawthorn fans think they can win the premiership!

Ok thanks. I’m confident it’s going to sell out. The fact members could not choose the bay let alone seat they wanted during the priority window is a blight on ticketek and the league. Shame on them… again.
Better than last year when we couldn’t even choose the categories against the Lions to start with.

What is the stadium capacity? I thought it was 28k but if it is then based on ticket availability on the ticketek map it looks to me about 25k tickets have been sold already
It's likely they haven't opened up all the sections for sale yet

While I broadly agree with the sentiment, it's Ticketmaster this time. But yes, again.

It certainly be can be done.

I recall being able to select the bays member's wanted to sit in is the 2023 Saints v Giants EF at the MCG and 2024 Swans v Giants QF at the SCG.

Not too sure what the reason is why members are not able to be provided with a couple of bays to choose from at Engie stadium?

In saying that, I haven't sat on the non-member side of the stadium since 2023 when I first was introduced to and started following footy. Sat there when we played Richmond and they kicked the winning goal in the last 30 seconds of the game. Was my second game at Giants stadium. Will certainly take me right back.
