Yeah I heard Browny was back to his old self, good to hear.

Hopefully the people who rode our season off after last week will apply those same standards to this game, but no doubt they'll just pass it off as "just a practice match", even though the same could have been said last week.

All in all, good night, good to hear Sarge, Petts, Hughes all kicking goals. Also its great that all players got through the game..

so we can't be happy with the win??

you can only play the opposition you are given and we still won...beats losing!!

It does beat losing but still not the real stuff,I'll enjoy iy more when it's carlton in round 1.

All credit to the tigers for winning but before you go calling us crap(tigerboyz) you should know we had half our best 22 out and it was much closer before the tigers kicked a few late goals.....

Sorry but from the reports I heard tonight both teams skills were pretty poor,so I'm not just say your team is playing badly we've still got a long way too go if we want to improve on last years position.

No one has said anything about Collins, was it him coming on that made us step up?

Ahem.... Paper said that Nathan Brown from the Tigers had a quiet night and the only thing he did was kick a nice little goal in the last quarter. Think you may have the wrong N. Brown in mind.

yes it got me worried also that they were relying on 1-2 senior players once again to drag them through to the win!! if that were the case then they were no better off than last year. a more even performance by all is needed to make step forward.

from half time that should read:p...sorry to let the truth get in the way of a good story

Tigers 5.3 6.4 11.5 15.8-98
Dees 2.3 5.5 6.9 8.11-59

I think we need to just enjoy having a win and not read too much into it. I'd like to think there will be many wins to enjoy this year.

Foxsports "Nathan Brown had a quiet night for the tigers, but kicked a neat roving goal in the last quarter."
