I think that he is very underated in terms of how important he is to our forward line, especially now without Waite up there.
May have to be up to Thornton or Houlihan to try and take over if that's the case.

He'll miss maybe at most 2 games of the "real" season...

Let's not forget we're all talking about how can we fit Kreuzer, Aisake, Setanta, Hampson, Ackland into the team.. well now either one of those talls or Hartlett has a chance to be in the forwards line a little more for a week or two. Setanta or even Thornton (by his display on the weekend) may be good enough to fill fishers shoes.

Thumbs take a while.... they tend to hang around for the whole season. You're always marking the ball at training which tends to delay the healing process. 6 weeks he'll be right, but you can bet he will be some pain for the whole year.
