Easy trade period:

First Trade

Fisher and Pick 4 to Hawthorn for Beau Dowler

Love Fish but can't kick, he and our 4th pick may get a Dowler. This allows Hawthorn to move on a guy to give him a go and gives Carlton a potential option up front.

Second Trade

Lucky Dip

Saddington to Hawthorn in straight swap for Tim Boyle

Hawks lack another backmen, Saddington although not setting the world on fire may give them an interim option, just as much as Boyle has and not been used.

We get a potentially half descent marking option if he can stay on the park.

Third Trade

Thornton and Bentick / Carrazzo to Sydney for Ryan Okeefe

Sydney would play hardball, but Thornton and Bentick may give them something to work with and enough to trade Okeefe back to Victoria.

Carrazzo may replace Bentick.

Okeefe is in a different class but would add that grunt and class factor up front.

Depends if he wants to leave a smuch as some have subtly mentioned.

Fourth Trade

Our second pick to Fremantle for Warnock

He and Hampson can share the ruck duties.

Gives us time to develop Kreuz more.

Look, just a fly by the night options, but I don't think Kosi, Kerr or Brown would be ideal due to the work needed to get the deal done, particularly Brown and Kerr.

I do accept that it has been said that we want to keep our picks, but our first rounder will be good.

We can really make some in roads.

Barnsey what the hell you smoking dude?

Fisher+Pick 4 for Dowler? WTF, did I miss something.

First of all we are not going to get pick 4, it will be pick 5 at worst but will probably be pick 6 or 7.

Second of all Dowler? how many games has this bloke played? Yeh he might be setting the world on fire for Box Hill, but pick 4:confused:

Ryan O'Keefe is worth alot more than Bentick and Thornton my friend. Going to cost you pick 6/7 +Thornton. As you said he is in a different class, so 2 C+ players doesn't equal 1 A+ player.
