Hi all,

I had a yarn with Bill Atherton last night regarding the upcoming season at Fitzroy. A lot of things happening over the next few weeks so be sure to mark these in your diaries:
Saturday 7/4: Fitzroy Reds practice match at Brunswick Street Oval
Thursday 19/4: Fitzroy Reds Jumper Presentation Night at Brunswick Street Oval Social Rooms. I'm not sure of entry costs.
Saturday 21/4: Fitzroy Reds first game at Richmond Centrals
Thursday 26/4: Fitzroy FC get-together at the Lord Newry Hotel, kick-off 7.30
Saturday 28/4: Fitzroy Reds first home game vs. South Melbourne District. There will be a pre-match luncheon, for those interested.

My unofficial Fitzroy Reds supporters guide will be posted very soon, featuring fixture, opposition clubs, etc. And for those who've yet to purchase your memberships for 2001, do so as soon as you can. Give so that the Roys may grow.

Yeah, I'll be going. It should be interesting, 29 degrees and windy. I know Fabulous Phil Doyle has expressed interest, I'll be at the Lord Newry pub around 12.30. If anyone else is interested, to quote Ian Turpie, "come on down".
