As I kept saying to some mates, even if the Pies hadn't made the GF, there was still a Victorian influence with Fitzroy still a part within the Lions.

I think its good that Brisbane include The old Fitzroy fans in their celebrations, it will give Brisbane a much larger supporter base having had both clubs share a lion as their logo, will also allow Fitzroy supporters to identify with a Brisbane based club.
