Why couldn't he be an intercept defenderCroft is as skinny as a stick of macaroni. He's been playing forward in the VFL and is not strong enough to hold his marks yet. He shows glimpses but is way off the pace until he builds up his body.

There is no point in keeping him if we are not going to play him.Buss is contracted don’t think we will trade him even if he wanted to leave

One of the other possible flow-on benefits of a shallower press might be a less crowded forward line. Has anyone noticed how week after week our forward line is much more clogged than our opponents when there's a rebound?

Lobb is a second tall playing the first defender role and JOD at this stage is a third defender playing as a second.
The loss of Jones has forced everyone to shuffle upwards and we are not able to cope.
Yes Lobb better suited to CHB where he can fly for marks and intercept he's not a fullback.
Don't you have anything better to do than to create new accountsWe have an intercept-driven defence. It works well when the midfield is on top, but doesn't hold up under pressure.
The midfield will never be on top consistently because we have Tim English in the ruck, and he always struggles in physical matchups.
Tim English will always be the #1 ruck because Beveridge is the coach, and is stuck in the intransigent mindset that English is the perfect modern-day ruckman.
Beveridge will always be the coach because the boy's club on the board will always back him.
We've been in the Groundhog Day loop for several years now. Strap yourselves in, it's going to be a predictable ride.
I think you are clutching at straws. Croft is not ready for AFL level whatever position you suggest. Further down the track of his development, we will no more of where he fits in.Why couldn't he be an intercept defender
The heck are you talking about mate?Don't you have anything better to do than to create new accounts
You just so happen to create an account after a loss and start going to town .. and expect us to believe you aren't the same guy who creates a gazillion accounts to do exactly that. The heck are you talking about mate?
To do exactly what? You just so happen to create an account after a loss and start going to town .. and expect us to believe you aren't the same guy who creates a gazillion accounts to do exactly that.
If you want a couple of extra years on the clock Jayden Laverde (Bombers), Jeremy Finlayson (Port Adelaide) and Chris Burgess (Crows) are also out of contract. Better than Sam Frost though probably not, Laverde would probably be my pick of those three. No I would rather a younger one
Needed more players that can stick a tackle. It allowed them to get free and clear to use good foot skills. Dolan and Hynes will make players just not physically strong enough at this stageProblem with our defence is our midfield not defending
Slowing down and marking player makes it ten times easier for our Defenders
I’d be asking about Leek Aleer. Plays as the 3rd in GWS defence. He would clearly be our best defender. Not sure of his cost but get it done
