The AFL today announced aradical new plan to eliminate collisions between players & umpires.
"In view of the reckless acts of certain players it has been decided we will draw a line 5m wide down the centre corridor which no player will be able to enter this will be an umpire transit lane. The public should not view this as a hinderence but rather like a priority bus lane on a busy road"
The penalty for entering the prohibited zone will be
on the 1st occaision be a free kick to the oppostion
2nd occaision 50m penalty & report
3rd occaision life time ban
4th occaison player will be shot by TRG sniper positioned in the stands.
The AFL hopes laser technology will eventually improve to a point where any player attempting to enter the free transit zone will be vaporised instantly.
"We understand football followers specifically go to games to watch the umpires & constant interference from players has been a blight on the game in recent years. The AFL wishes all supporters to know we are out there listening to them"

I take it for granted that James Hird will be permitted to use this lane, as Mr Perfect does not have to abide by the normal laws of the game as they currently stand!

Typical!!

Goatmaster didn't make any mention of Essendon or it's players until one of our "friendly" resident Collingwood supporters decided to bring the captain in on the conversation. Oh, and Hird gets away with everything on the footy field now? Ohh...the Golden Boy is such a dirty player.

Your envy of the EFC quite pathetic really!

Hey, I was just saying he gets a very easy run from the umpires. That's a fact. As a Donger supporter, you are not impartial and are in no position to judge the favouritism the umpires display toward him.

To deny that the umpires have pets is ludicrous. There are players that poll votes when they don't deserve them and there are players that don't get votes when they are BOG!

I didn't say Hird was a dirty player. Nathan Buckley isn't a dirty player either, but you watch how many times he gets pinged for things that are trivial. I don't think there is a player in the competition that gets done for holding the ball, without having prior opportunity to dispose of it than Bucks! It's really quite comical!

Regardless I was just having a joke so don't take things so personally.

BTW using three of those stupid icons doesn't make your argument any more compelling or stronger. Use English to get your message across. It's much more effective!
