Ahh yes, the AFL using off season stories to drive the fixture.Round 1 Bombers (H)
Round 2 Hawks (tassie away)
Round 3 West Coast (H)
All I know that all the NMFC games will be live and Exclusive on NMFC TV Network-Foxtel/Kayo plus our fair whether supporters won’t turn up any way no matter what time Day or Night the game is on.I’d rather play Saturday twilight than Sunday games
Sundays at 1 and 4pm
Close thread
Yep, whilst I'd prefer any time on a Saturday, if it is Sunday (likely) have grown to not mind 1.10pm as get home earlier, lunch at Social club. 440pm is horrid but stupidly I keep turning up...1pm starts work best for me, 4.40pm starts are for the tip.

No matter what time of what day, it’s going to * somebody over.
We should revolutionise footy and request 2pm Saturday starts for home games. With the ressies on beforehand of course.
1pm Sunday can cause major issues for anyone with kids playing junior footy. Last season I had to go through the fixture and identify the weekend games we’d struggle to get to, and that’s magnified when you only have 7 local home games.

Why they didn't play us in round 1 vs Port at Marvel this year is beyond me.Ahh yes, the AFL using off season stories to drive the fixture.
A staple.
Sure, but when we played in consecutive prelims in 14/15, we still started like this:Come on lads. Anyone wanna remind me of our ladder positions and crowd numbers (where applicable) of the last four years? We get the scraps, and it's hard to argue against at this stage
We started like that but I distinctly remember plenty of free to air timeslots during that period. We certainly snagged a few Fridays too, particularly around 15-16.Sure, but when we played in consecutive prelims in 14/15, we still started like this:
Adelaide at home, Saturday night
Brisbane away, Saturday twilight
Melbourne at Bellerive, Sunday afternoon
Fremantle at home, Sunday twilight
Gold Coast away, Saturday twilight
Good times...
My kids are still young at the moment, so earlier slots work.
You’ll never please everyone, but one thing I will guarantee is that 4.40pm Sunday games will pi$s 95% off.
Junior footy is great fun, treasure the time while it lasts. Happy to send updates from the groundVery true. I guess I’d rather be pissed but able to attend than completely unable due to it clashing with junior footy (for which times fluctuate between a 9am start to a 2pm start every Sunday throughout the Winter).

Fixture apparently to be released in the next fortnight
there was an article earlier this week, can't be bothered finding it atmWhere did you read that? Last year it came out in December.
