So after Round 12, 8 teams will have had a bye. SC finals start start Round 14? No chance 10 teams are gonna have the bye in R13....

After looking at this clusterf*ck, I've planned out my next few weeks of trades. Here is my final team come SC finals:

Ridley - Hurley - Saad - Mckenna - May - Salem
Merrett - Shiel - McGrath - Langford - Oliver - Viney - Langdon - Brayshaw
Gawn - BellChambers
Petracca - Weidemann - Pickett - Stringer - D.Smith - Parish

Funny, but not quite that bad.

After Round 11, none of these teams have a Bye:

Melb/Ess/GWS/Syd/Fremo/WCE/Haw/Carl

Now that the fixture is out you’d expect some type of announcements from SC re byes/trades. All decisions are being made on the fly, SC must adapt with it too.

Strange that Collingwood and Geelong are the teams having to cram so many games into a short time when it's Essendon and Melbourne who have the extra game to play.

Although I quite like the fact we come up against Collingwood as the last of their four squashed games and a four day break, when we've got a six day break

I hope they give us 5 more to see out the year. Yeah the season was shorter but we had to use 5 at the reset and most people I assume will have 13 left like me after this round. Earlier I thought is was 3 rounds of this but its actually 4 so if Im forced to use 3 per week to field a best 18 there will be 1 left for the last 5 rounds.

Nah saw it somewhere on twitter but wasn't him. He's dead to me after his reaction to ppl after that dreadful round 3 decision. Also can't believe they didn't consult with the community and just did what they wanted. I note tim is ranked highly so clearly the decision didn't affect him.

There are 18 rounds of AFL now (to accommodate the bye) so finals should be 15, 16, 17, 18.

The AFL also already talked about how rounds 17 and 18 are going to be scheduled "traditionally" (ie. Thursday through to Sunday/Monday), so you would assume all 18 teams play both of those rounds.

So I would assume you're looking at byes for Port, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Collingwood, Richmond, North, Bulldogs, Saints, Geelong in the last 3 regular SC rounds and/or the first 2 rounds of finals.

Will be interesting.
