But yes, apart from that, you're right - they show nothing.
And Collingwood's average figure was boosted by:
- two public holiday games
- A Monday night game
- A Thursday night game
- five Friday night games
- a standalone Saturday night game versus Sydney
The point being that you can look at ANY clubs "biggest few" games and say "Oh, those big games boosted their average."
At the end of the day, all the games count towards the average and the figures are what they are. Collingwood had plenty of big games to boost their average, but they still came third.
Essendon's 'lead' in those ratings numbers would be well and truly covered by sampling error, they may well be 3rd or 4th on the list for all we know.
LOL! And Collingwood my be 5th or 6th after "sampling error." And maybe Essendon and St.Kilda's figures are even higher due to "sampling error."
Jesus Christ, Oztam is paid millions of dollars to have a procedure that is accurate. That is what they do. You can't just "assume" the figures are wrong because you don't like what you see.
The figures are what they are. And those ratings determine which clubs get the main share of prime time games.

Whilst I appreciate your stubborness in replying to my post, I don't actually rate your ****ing smart arsed approach to it.
Why don't you count those that are listening to radio live as well, and then also those that are at the game.
Does it count those that tape/IQ the game?
Also, what is the percentage of houses that actually have one of those boxes that get recorded what they are watching? I don't I know that. Those figures are guesswork. Just like your posting.
