Well they can't do much worse than last time I guess, unless they are planning to remain goal-less for the entire game.

I've seen part of the draft fixture and this is not the case. We play you there in Round 11 or something.
I've also heard we will play the Saints in Round 1 as an away game at the MCG on the Friday Night, Hawthorn in Round 2 and probably Collingwood in Round 3.

The HUN is reporting Melbourne, Bulldogs and Richmond are to play 2 Home games each in Darwin over the next 3 years. Whether that means 6 games in Darwin or the 3 teams will rotate 2 home games a season I'm not sure. It also mentiones Port will be the away team each time.

The AFL would make a lot more money from an Essendon V Hawthorn season opener instead.

The Melbourne V Collingwood idea sounds like a snorefest, and would most likely be set aside for the Queen's Birthday match.
