Correcting grammar = last resort attack

true, but we do that because its not like we can say "At least we've won more premierships than you" - there's only one team in the comp we can say that to, and I woulcn't dare!

Look at the bright side, at least Fremantle are below you:p

Dapper,

fellatrix can't perform unless so positioned. There are advantages you know.

Quoting is getting annoying because everyone seems to misinterpret what I said. trust me, I'm not saying that a premiership is meaningless.....

Do other sainters agree with me?

Hmmm, cry for help. Dont get sensitive, remember you have a thick hide and taunts are just for school yard bullies and mummy to resolve

1 modern/real premiership vs 0 :)

Mate there is no such thing as modern or real premierships. If you are going to divide anything up make it VFL and AFL flags between Victorian clubs and just AFL flags between interstate clubs or interstate clubs compared to Victorian clubs. So the ratio to St.Kilda would be 6:1 VFL flags or 1:0 AFL flags making it 7:1 overall.

Brisbane 3:1 Geelong LOL :p or
Fitzroy/Brisbane 11:7 Geelong :p

Jesus. That just shows how shit Western Bulldogs, St. Kilda really have been.

Poor University. :o

Haha. Look at Port Adelaide compared to Fremantle. :p Pathetic.

Interesting graph there. Actually the 44 year gap for Geelong is the longest gap of any club between combined spoons/flags, theoretically saying Geelong has been gloriously competitive in that time.

The Dogs to have made just two Grand Finals is scary poor, that 1997 preliminary final loss to the Crows ruined a magnificent oportunity for a genuine Grand Final between the two least successful clubs. At least the Saints have made Grand Finals in recent times, (65-66-71-97), and they have been up there making preliminaries in 2004-05.

But i suppose that the tally of flags is quite often a last resort of the scoundrel, particularly Carlton who have to paint over their last six seasons of despair by saying 16> insert number here. But as a Cats fan, being reigning premiers i reckon gives about the best signature, as the word 2007 premiers sort of says it all. As a bloke who is almost 40, it certainly was a long time coming.

yeh, it is a last resort attack. How many flags someone wins or loses doesnt change their opinion on the other team, so even if i was a carlton or essendon supporter, i would still have the same opinion. The only difference is, the comebacks would change from "26 wooden spoons " to "cheating scum". But that is the way of B13. We'll just have to live with it until september, when it'll be saints vs geelong.

The graph should be amended to include Grand Final losses. Doesnt really acknowledge the efforts of Collingwood or Geelong during their drought periods. :o
