We have to remember this plane incident could well be/is the worst we have seen for ages and hundreds of families are going through hell right now worrying about missing loved ones.

Keep it nice and on track as this board is not here to have a laugh about it while making a mockery of this terrible incident.

yeah they do have the micro chip but it wouldn't surprise me if they had all the recognition technology already going on.
so bg32 is right it will be the fart into a machine coming now with the obligatory dna swipe of your ass, matching your stool sample to the one on a data base.
 
Its bizarre that absolutely nothing has shown up. Even if it had crashed way off course you'd have thought by now some debris would have floated far enough into the track of rescue ships. A mate of my today made a suggestion that the plane was hijacked and flown at such low altitude that it wouldn't have been picked up on radar, but that begs the question of where would it have gone.

at this stage. im reading it even turned back but for how long no one seems to be saying, a plane in front of the plane that has disappeared heard mumbling from the crew but couldnt make out anything, before communications went dead.

whats getting me at this stage is when you watch the tv it shows the flight path going over land and only a small percentage of the flight is over a ocean. then another media outlet shows it goes over the sea all the way. surely the media can give us a true flight plan.
the flight path over land looks the most direct route to me anyway.
they say they lost contact two and a bit hours after it took off, so you would think they would have good idea where it would roughly be. or am i trippin.
so at this stage it could actually be hijacked and everyone is still alive somewhere, like someone else posted it could of flown low too avoid radar.
hope they find this thing soon.
something is not adding up.
heck if a plane went down and it was two hours into the flight going from melb to Kuala lumpur, they would roughly know where that plane should be.
 
IF this was an act of terrorism and considering the percentage of Chinese citizens on board and destination, the attack would be aimed at China?

Any idea who'd behind that? Extremist Uighurs and/or other movements?
 
I genuinely have no good theory on this one. The official story could prove to actually be true this time, once they put together an official story - which they are miles off doing, with their flip-flop reports every half hour.

Here are the best alternate theories I have heard across teh web:

1) Kelantan Dinar. You don't use gold-backed currencies unless you want retribution. Ask Gaddafi.

Problem: Why now? They've been using the Dinar for years.

2) False flag 1 - Terrorists. Will make the case for complete bio-passports a lot easier to sell.

Problem: Why take so long to recover the plane?

3) False flag 2 - Russia/Iran/North Korea/Syria. Will make WWIII a lot easier to sell.

Problem: US/NATO haven't got their ducks in order for the war yet. At least I hope not.

4) Freescale Semiconductor. Take out the top brass of a powerful company. Profit.

Problem: Seems an elaborate way to do business, why not just buy them out?

5) Shot down by somebody, long time to announce is to allow diplomatic channels to do their thing.

Problem: Doesn't really explain anything.

6) Elaborate hoax. The plane never left.

Problem: Que bono?

Dumb Q, if you flew a plane head first into the sea (with the intention not to survive) what would the likely result be in terms of wreckage?

It would be like hitting concrete at that speed and the plane would break up. Most of the fuselage would sink but there would be a heap of debris everywhere.

A plane cannot just Pin dive into the Ocean fully intact and never be seen again!!! Most of the materials that make up a planes body are very light and have to be to get it off the ground when fully loaded. Heaps of carbon fiber parts and aluminum materials are used especially for the wings and main body etc.
 
I get the feeling that if the plane turned or deviated then maybe a hijacking was involved But again where is the damn plane. Is it possible to turn off all the radar so the flight is invisible??

My only other explanation is that the plane was infact a Transformer.
 
i need a EPIRB for my boat, you would think they would need to have one on a plane.

They may have, doesn't mean that device didn't fail either.

It took five days to find the air France plane, so we might have a long wait

the "black box" has a signal that can last up to 25 days.
these can be traced at the bottom of the ocean,up to 3 kilometres deep.
 
Yep this ones got me flummoxed, best i can come up with is ufo abduction.
 
This gets weirder with every passing minute.

For all intents and purposes, a large passenger aircraft has vanished without a trace.

All the alternate theories put by SB previously (and no doubt, there are others) have some credibility but none actually match the circumstances.

If this goes on for another 48 hours or so, I'm going to be forced to reconsider the theory I've come up with to rationalise all my missing odd socks.......the Portal to Another Universe may exist outside of my washing machine.!!
