Suppose you wanted China to stop vetoing official UN war against Syria, how would you get them to do it? How would you force them to join you in isolating Russia as Syria's only security council ally?

If it were me, and I were evil, I'd be tempted to strongarm them by funding/inciting separatist extremists to cause anarchy within China, knowing that this is (along with the shadow banking and property bubble the country is facing) one of the ruling party's biggest challenges - keeping the country together.

I'd even be tempted to abduct a plane and use the old carrot and stick approach: You back away from Syria and we magically find the lost plane in some remote part of Vietnam, passengers dehydrated and shocked but safe, or you don't back away and we suddenly find a whole heap of rubble in some remote place in Vietnam, every one of the passengers dead.

Both these organisations deny any connection to the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM), which Beijing blames for armed attacks within China. The US State Department placed the ETIM on its list of terrorist organisations in 2002, in exchange for Chinese support for the US-led invasion of Afghanistan.

The CIA undoubtedly has connections to the ETIM and other armed Uighur groups, however, going back to the 1980s when it funded a covert war inside Afghanistan to oust the Soviet-backed regime. The ETIM had linkages to Al Qaeda, which was a CIA conduit for Islamist fighters to join the anti-Soviet jihad.

wouldnt rule out mossad for stealing the passports, they have been known too use aussie passports to enter middle east country and assassinate foreign leaders.

is that as extrodinary as at this point,the plane has simply vanished? or is the % of passengers per plane who fail to board in this range?

you can check in online and not have luggage, do they know whether luggage was actually involved in these check ins?

We can rule out a bomb
We can rule out engine failure
We can rule out stuctual failure
We can rule out bad weather
Pretty soon we will get radar data peer reviewed, peer reviewed because by that time all the countries with the ability to record all air traffic in that area would of compared data.
We can rule out most things because these planes have significant well drawn and rehearsed plans in the event of nearly every natural reason communications would be lost.

We have a plane leaving a very strict islamist country going to the very strictess communist country. i don't think the western world despises anything as much as those two things.

Phone may of been stolen, left behind at hotel or airport probably

Four passengers on flight 370 failed to board after checking in their luggage, which raised further suspicion about the passengers after the plane disappeared.

But Malaysia’s Department of Civil Aviation chief Azaharuddin Abdul Rahman told Fairfax Media the passengers' luggage was offloaded from the plane before it left Kuala Lumpur airport in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He said the luggage was screened and found not to contain anything suspicious and was then returned to the passengers in the terminal.

"We followed standard operating procedures to remove the baggage of those who didn’t turn up," he said.

"There was nothing suspicious [about those passengers]," he said.

The identities of the four passengers have not been made public.

i heard on radio before that the us government has ruled out an explosion as they say that it would of shown up on there satellites if there had been an explosion.

im really thinkn its crashed in some thick jungle and is hard to find,

Kind of half serious to say this, but could it be aliens?

4) No radar visibility
5) No distress calls
6) Most importantly, NO WRECKAGE WHATSOEVER ...(yet)

As of now, there is no evidence to it being blown up, etc, so perhaps the only thing that can make a muphukkin JET disappear in mid-flight is...

So what do we know about that being a possibilty?

Search parties should of been on this a day ago.
Logically there should be witnesses from local farmers in the area of something ,even if minor, it may take a few days for the reports to get in, depending on what the witnesses thought and when they get in touch with mainstream news.
Odds on are the plane didn't explode.
