An interesting thread so far with some good reads. I would agree that given our current evidence, that anything is possible.

If were are thinking aliens, then why would they need to take a plane full of people with 50% of them Chinese)? What need would they have with it and the people?

I'm thinking something more logical here like what Sydney Bloods proposed with the lack of cockpit oxygen and the plane flying on auto-pilot. This seems the pick of the bunch. If this is the case, then I think that authorities are looking in the wrong place. The only thing that adds doubt to this is that surely the plane would have been picked up by a radar? Seeing that it never was, then this theory could be proven wrong. So, we go back to the aliens then.

The aliens have been doing things like this for centuries and not telling anyone, mapped antarctica before the ice age, built the pyramids, created the nazca lines, launched the black knight satellite, crop circles, the list goes on.

Quite true. Who knows anything really? I mean can we really believe what the media is telling us? And, who's the say that authorities are really searching properly considering that roughly 60% of them are Chinese.

Incredibly sad for all this involved, but incredibly interesting for outsiders..we haven't had a mystery disappearance of this magnitude for a long time. I hope for the sake of the relatives that the plane will be found and all questions answered. But if they do all come down in a giant mothership 40 years from now I hope I'm here to see it and hear about it.

Personally I think the plane just crashed in to the big ass ocean offcourse somewhere and will be found soon.

Who needs elaborate schemes and "covers" if blowing up the world is your goal in life??.....not much point in pinning the blame on someone else if we are all vaporised.

To draw an analogy, it's like those almost comically intricate, nefarious and grandiose plots the bad guys come up with to dispose of James Bond when they have him bound and gagged and at their mercy. Instead of shooting him in the head, they devise a stupidly complex machine with 25.689 moving parts that will drop our hero in a pool of white pointers, piranhas or man- eating grass-hoppers with the obligatory ....

say a bomb leveled a western city or say tel aviv lol it would give the US and the world justification to flatten the joint, it was only today for instance that netanjahu or whoever it was, was freakn and confiscated at a shipment of arms they say was coming from iran.

And regarding the Iranian guys, it's been pretty much confirmed the 2 blokes were just students with hopes and dreams of migrating to Europe; one of the blokes' mother lives in Germany so it looks like he was just trying to go over and live with her.

Also heard on the radio that a Chinese separatist group, possibly Ughuirs claimed responsibility for blowing it up. They told Chinese media this. BUT I would take that with a grain of salt, they're most likely not responsible.
