Upper body strength for mine, they push off easily and guard the balldrop even sharking our ruckman. and if they can get a couple of paces clear our tackles (assuming we even get a hand on them) dont stick.i agree with that but how does nash, newcombe, ward and mackenzie beat our midfield on the spread. the only fast one out of that is mackenzie.
Couldnt have hurt to give curtis a couple of cba rotations. Cant just have a midfield getting owned for 4 entire quarters without trying something.I tuned into Agenda Setters for the first time ever and within a minute they had vision of our attempt at defensive efforts. The vision was absolutely damning. Like laughable efforts.
If there's a few more floggings over the next month then we have well and truly gone no where in 5 years and what hope could any of us have

They each play to a system where blind folded they still probably know where everyone is on the field, and where their opposition is. Our midfield is very overrated and a shame Clarko could not mix it up with some Curtis and Bull action when the game was slipping away at a rate of knots. Curtis would not have let the Wizard stroll down the guts with his wand like that.i agree with that but how does nash, newcombe, ward and mackenzie beat our midfield on the spread. the only fast one out of that is mackenzie.
Oh I was actually going to make the comment about this particular thing myself. They may just work at the clubWhy do you even think a North person is running X or the other social media’s?
After all North sells Raffle tickets. They even ring me personally to ask if I’m interested. I bet no other Club does that.![]()
It could all change very quickly with a smart midfielder. After having had time to reflect, I am in fact grumpier and more despondent than I was initially.
This is hell. We're in football hell. Yes, it's not Afghanistan, running away from missile strikes, and it's not Central Africa, where God knows what virus is terrorising the population, but by first world standards, it's pretty ****ing hellish.
Every time we try to bust the hatch open fully, it flops open for a second, and then closes right back on us. And the air (finite, in whatever musty, hygienically questionable space we inhabit) is starting to suffocate.
I feel like our arms are exhausted from pushing at the hatch. We push and push and never take that step into the next echelon. And then we take weeks to recover, for either a small 'phht' towards the end of the season, or for a complete write-off of the current season and an invitation for the next one, which we, by the way, start slowly.
Just... for once I'd love to get out of this ****ing joint and see the metaphorical blue sky. It feels like we're never making it out. I'm as close to detaching from the club as I will ever be. It's more grim habit that keeps me going now after thrashings. Not passion. And it's a shit place to be. I'd rather a clean break from them, but that won't happen either.
Just, grim. I hope we don't lube up and spread em for Sam Darcy and Bonk, but that universe would currently appear perilously similar to this one
Little bit of system little bit of ability little bit of Coombies, little bit of “nice place for a pay day”how does our midfield actually get beat that badly, look at our players who we have there compared to them.

We're not a good side but we've got the makings of a good side, it's just not happening right now. We still have list and development issues, which can't be fixed in 5 minutes. It'll happen but we still need to get to work on the football department and get rid of people that really aren't helping us even if they have the right intentions.alright ive calmed down a bit. We simply are just not a good side... yet. weve shown signs, 8 weeks of good footy and lots of travel, shouldnt be surprising this let down happened. o well we move on.

If cultural change is someone with the balls to put the wind up them then yes, I guess that's it. It's not entirely what I meant, but they do come across as a team that needs a foot in the arse.I suspect what we need is cultural change.
Thing is, I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not lol. JoyIt could all change very quickly with a smart midfielder.
