Arguably the biggest boxing match of the past decade.
Deserves it's own thread.
Early outright prices:
WILLIAM HILL
Mayweather 1.13
McGregor 6.00
LADBROKES
Mayweather 1.15
McGregor 5.50
SPORTSBET
Mayweather 1.15
McGregor 5.50
CROWNBET
Mayweather 1.15
McGregor 5.50
BET365
Mayweather 1.10
McGregor 7.00
The fight will be boxing rules, 12 three-minute rounds at 154 pounds with 10-ounce gloves, sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Mayweather Promotions will be the lead promoter for the entirely of the card, and TV network Showtime will air the fight on pay-per-view.
I like McGregor's early price. His last fight was the most previous November (albeit in the UFC and not boxing), Mayweather's was 2 years ago. Not to mention he's 40 years old now as opposed to McGregor who's only 28. Mayweather has also struggled against people that fight southpaw, and guess who fights southpaw? That's right, McGregor. Not definitively going to say right now that McGregor will win, just that I like his price and there's a justification behind liking it. I can't see McGregor holding that price so if you like him I would suggest jumping on early.
What are everyone else's thoughts on the fight?
