Just a shame Rugby Australia isn’t in a position to just tell Qantas to go ram it, and just change sponsors. One crusading little sawed off rainbow bully shouldn’t have the power to cause a situation like this.

But then again, Raelene Castle comes across as a quintessential corporate and ideological SJW anyway, so this probably would of happened anyway.

Its all about the money and the AFL would have been no different as they are driven by money first as well.
If the AFL had the chance of losing a big sponsor or sacking a player over a tweet i have no doubt what so ever that the player would be sacked. AFL and Sport in general is not about principles and honesty nowadays its about keeping the money rolling in at the expense of the players. Its about brand protection.

While I don’t agree with his views, hats off to Israel for not bowing down to the rainbow brigade and staying true to his values and beliefs. This decision will cause a lot of discontent amongst the Polynesian playing community. What a world we now live in. Crazy times ahead.

If they stick with that then i would expect him to sign for a Japanese club, but sometimes you have to dismiss a lot of what the French say. If a French club see's value in signing him they will

There is talk that more than some of the Polynesian playing community will walk away from playing union, but time will tell.
There is talk that some Polynesian parents of junior union players will pull their kids out of union clubs, but again only time will tell.

Taniela Tupou said as much in a now deleted social media post a few weeks ago. Would love to see a few of them make themselves unavailable for selection for the World Cup. Go to Europe and earn the big bucks fellas, Rugby Australia has betrayed you.
