Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I don't have sex with men, but I'm pretty much ****ed on the rest of the list.

I suppose I could stop thieving. I'm no chance of repenting from the sexually immoral stuff. That's a deal breaker right off the bat.

Surely there's a loophole?

Dear oh dear.

Only hardcore LGBTQTXYZ activists, SJWs and spineless corporate sport administrators, would describe what Folau did as a ‘high level’ offence....haven’t seen the bloke online sticking his foot in a women’s face in a sex tape, haven’t seen him so drunk he is urinating in his own mouth, or on video trying to fornicate with dogs, or so drunk he is belting the soul out of his wife at a casino.

Perspective wouldn’t go astray.

So I just googled this LGBTQTXYZ acronym because I am rather curious about how many more identity combinations one can possibly get from the sum product of two, max 3 at a stretch chromosomes, and the second top result lands me on a page that starts with this:

Let’s get serious about anal health! (But not too serious)

So I was down at the LGBTQXYZ health clinic the other day, getting some of the special LGBTQXYZ medications I take for special LGBTQXYZ diseases that I’ve contracted from bathhouse sex over the years, when I stumbled upon a great article in Positively Aware Magazine.

The only winners in this whole Folau saga will be the solicitors. They never lose.

Not wishing to re-open a can worms, but without seeing the wording in his actual contract and taking into account the ARU code of conduct (which by the way works both ways, i.e. employer must respect his religious views) I suggest Rugby Australia are screwed legally and although Folau may never represent Aus again he will receive a good pay out....

Yes, but in legal terms that will be a small factor.
I suggest legal counsel for Folau will simply present two options to Rugby Australia:
1. Drag this dispute on for the rest of the year (an easy thing to undertake) with plenty of media coverage or
2. Negotiate a settlement
Legal counsel will also note that Mr Folau didn't write anything, he simply shared a religious script from the old testament composed by some goat herder 3000 years ago...
They will also argue it's essentially the same Bible our Prime Minister's, Governor General's and our Supreme court Justices have place their hand on at some stage throughout their lives....

ps. I call J.Christ as witness for the defence...

The pathos is heavy with you

How and why would his post contribute to the mental health of the LGBTI community?
How many of the LGBTI community would Folau's post affect? In rough percentage term? 90%? 50%?
How many LGBTI people identify with the same religious beliefs as Folau?
1. If you don't understand how organised religion has contributed to society's intolerance towards the LGBTI community, I'm not interested in educating you.
2. Irrelevant and impossible to answer.
3. Many LGBTI people learn to hate themselves because of organised Christianity. If you want exact numbers, find them for yourself. What is your opinion on conversion therapy?

Ancient Europe was very gay before the Christians got into power and started murdering gay people

They've gone a long way to shaping anti-gay attitudes in the west for centuries. They can't kill them anymore because increased secularism and the fact that they are no longer the power used to be, but you bet if they could they would, just listen to some of the crazy preachers in the US

Yeah, Osama Bin Ladin was not just promoting extremist religious beliefs, he was funding major terrorist attacks that killed innocent civilians .

Talk about apples and oranges.
I was only discussing his beliefs and his right to share them, but I see your point.

If a religious believer posted on social media that black people have a future in Hell unless they change their skin colour, and that post resulted in their employment being jeopardized, would you support their rights to freedom of speech and freedom of religion?

Conversion therapy is sick and evil.

But let’s stand against religious homophobia and intolerance WHEREVER we see it.

Do you honestly think Raelene Castle, Alan Joyce, Rugby Australia and all the others that have had a crack at Israel, do you think they would of had the guts to take on this fight if instead of a Christian player, it was Muslim player tweeting verses out of the Koran?

I’m going to suggest they wouldn’t.

And you know what, in light of what happened to the staff at Charlie Hebdo, Theo Van Gogh, Salman Rushdie amongst others etc etc....I don’t think it’s outrageous to suggest people have fair grounds to be concerned about the prospect of what may happen when you upset the Muslim community.

Particularly when you are the CEO of an international airline.

Let’s just not pretend this isn’t the case.

Given the antagonistic response by both media and the general public towards Anthony Mundine over his extremist Muslim views every time he chooses to share them in public, I think you're mistaken.

The Muslim community don't seem particularly bothered that many Australian's think Mundine is a campaigner.

In my honest opinion, the response would have been more vociferous if Folau was Muslim because the right-wing media would have piled on.

Mundine is a flog, and yes the community hates him. As for ‘extremist’ Muslim views.....myriad of evidence to suggest religiously justified hatred of homosexuality (amongst other Koranic ‘teachings’) is far from just an ‘extremist’ Muslim position.

https://www.belfercenter.org/publication/islams-jihad-against-homosexuals

Bottom line, Folau has copped a far heavier whack from the moralists in the media (Fitzsimons, Waleed et al), politicians, and the business community, over one dumb arse meme, then Mundine EVER copped throughout over a decade of hateful bile spewed against amongst other targets, non Aboriginal people, homosexuals, as well as his continual role of apologist for Islamic terrorism, 9/11...etc etc.

And he certainly hasn’t been ‘cancelled’ the way Folau has.

For example, just last year this was Mundine appearing on I’m A Celeb Get Me Out of Here.

26BC87A8-1840-49BD-B990-16C5F6375BD3.jpeg

Meanwhile Folau will probably have to leave the country if he ever wants to find any kind of paid employment again.

THERE is the double standard.

The truth is people find it far, far easier to openly and publicly critique and condemn Christianity and Christians, then they do Islam and Muslim’s.

One may rear up and threaten to kill you if you question or criticise there belief system, whereas the other one won’t.

That’s just reality.

I asked for you to back up your assertion that Folau's post would cause harm and how much harm you estimate
You provide nothing but false outrage and virtue signalling guff

In the past i have had a fair bit to to with contracts and they can be a legal nightmare and down to definition.
With the ARU offering Folau a million bucks to walk away recently says to me they are not confident in this case.
