Follow Alerts - Sept 2014

Now you can get an alert when a person you follow:

• Posts a new thread
• Updates their status
• Replies to a thread

To add these alerts to people you already follow:

1. Go here: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/following
2. Unfollow the person. You'll be taken to their profile page.
3. Follow them again, and you'll see the options above.

Now you can follow any member from any of their posts.

Just click the Follow link and select which, if any, alerts you'd like to receive.



You can unfollow from the person's profile.

We progress with these things over time until we think we have it right. Feedback and improvement is part of the process. My original version was bright blue.

Guess I don't understand the concept and appeal of the "Follow" for starters, yet now it takes pride and place plastered on everyone's avatar.

No seriously though, great initiative, but could you consider moving the button off the avatars. I like seeing people's avatars in all their glory.
