A new round.

So each year I plant a few tomato bushes and this time of the year is picking time.

They destroy the shop tomatoes on every single front, especially taste.

They even beat the 'truss' varieties.

Why is it Big Footy people that tomatoes in 2014 bought from shops are the most tasteless creatures in the fruit and vegie section?

Why do we tolerate it?

Currently enjoying black russian heirlooms, also have some cherry tomato bushes and some romas that will become passata. Buggered if I know why anyone would be buying tomoatoes at this time of year if they can grow their own.

Are the shop one's hydro? They do taste like water compared to home grown's but slack people like me still buy them.
