Personally I think a quality chocolate ice cream is hard to beat, but gun to my head I'd probably say pistachio is the best.

My other half makes some pretty decent ice-cream although I did not try the pumpkin or sweet potato ice-cream she made. I definitely like the honey ones and salted caramel, but rum and raisin can't be beaten.
I had some Pistachio ice-cream back in 1984 that I can still remember to this day it was so good. At a place called Lombardi's in Cheltenham.

Ok I've made this and it's awesome, I use chicken thighs and serve with a huge salad.
