Got this one on the iPhone. Got sacked by Sheffield Wednesday in the season 2013/14 after losing the first 5 games. took over FC Halifax who were in Blue Square Bet North (6th tier), got them promoted, then got them promoted again, from the Blue Square Premier into League 2. in the season 2015/16 now, with one game left, and I'm playing Oldham for their playoff spot. No words can explain the tension

Took Forest Green Rovers from the Blue Square Conference to the npower Championship over the long weekend - kind of cheated though (opened up the editor and loaned all the best young Newcastle reserve players and West Ham kids (my room mate's team) on 5 year loan deals to FG - was great fun to see a young team progress us up the football hierarchy. Loan deals are done now and so need to basically rebuild the whole team to try and fight off relegation

really struggled to get into this. took swansea to second after the latest transfer update with kweuke and michu dominated. don't really have much motivation to come back for a second season and im not sure why.

Haha true - love doing things like this though for those smaller clubs I want to see do well (Grimsby, Rotherham, Carlisle, Gateshead etc).
I actually have 2 guys left from the original team. Eddie Oshodi who is my 4th choice cb and got about 10 games in the league and Al Bangura who I have playing predominantly in the reserves as a back up holding mid - has decent work rate, marking, stamina and tackling and team work for a conference level player
On FM12, I once did a career where Ronaldo and Heskey were on loan at FGR - think they scored something like 75+ goals between them in the conference and became fan favourites within a year
where is the editor again. Also 5yr loan deals? I thought 2 was the max. Might give this a try lol.

Doesn't compare at all to the PC version. Runs well and is easy to use, but can get very boring if played for too long. Just a game that you play when stuck on a long train ride really. And I'm not sure about the update, my phone doesn't have enough memory to update it :/

Playing with Melbourne Heart at the moment. Managed to score the championship in my third season in charge.
Have had a heap of former big name players come through our doors including Del Horno, Rivaldo, Wes Hoolahan and just brought in Charlie Adam.

I had him in a save in FM 12, unfortunately the only thing he was good for coming on as a sub and taking set pieces.

My favourite game ever was being Liverpool after finishing 5th first season and then winning the first 3 out 5 games and getting fired. So I switched to Man City who were 12th and got them the title, uefa super cup, europa cup and the champions league title in my first and second year there.

Yep so true mate, bringing in the right coaches, selling off players you don't want/bringing in players you want, changing and tinkering with the formations, training etc - normally takes me a good few hours to get through a preseason

Can you dual manage club and country? I remember you could back in the day but the last FM I bought before 13 (might have been 11) would always crash if I tried to do both
Have turned Newcastle into Supercastle on numerous occasions, wouldn't mind helping lead my country to WC and Asian cup glory!

Nothing in particular, but considering the financial situation they're in, getting them anywhere would be an accomplishment.
[edit] Also, does anyone else here know of LFCMarshall's Summer Update? Always make sure to download this update for every offseason. Basically he updates all the transfers, budgets, relegations and promotions for the upcoming EPL Season, as well as taking suggestions for CA/PA & Stat Changes for players & coaches.
