Just played my first game with Blackpool, I kinda wanna reward them for finally getting rid of that fat ****er Oyston.

Anyone got early beta access and starting a save?
 
I wish there were more hours in the day so that I could sit and play for fun for a few hours a day, but I just can't stand myself sitting and playing for several hours at a time which is what you need to do to make any progress in the game. Still, I love FM and it will always be my favourite game of all time. My preference is to watch people play on YouTube instead if I feel I need an FM fix.

My preference of saves were always those mid-table clubs in top leagues that needed a bit of a kick but wouldn't need an incredible effort to drag to Champions League relevance, such as a West Ham, Lazio, Real Sociedad etc.

Match engine is still a bit buggy, wing backs score a stupid amount of long range goals and 1-on-1 striker goals nearly ever work, but still not a lot wrong with the beta at the moment.

I pre-ordered it from CJS CD Keys for around $53 but I don't think it includes the beta. I contacted their support page and they kept saying it will be released soon but then I heard from another source it will just be released on release day. So I refunded it just now and bought it on steam for 68. I sold some crappy items I got from other games for about $5 so it was $63 in the end which isn't too bad. Essentially paying that difference to play the beta for 2 weeks, wish I did it earlier but that latest message about it probably being release day made me buy it.

If you can wait till release day, grab it from there.
Can't wait to sell Xhaka.
 
Sold Xhaka to United for about 28m pound which I am more than happy with getting.
A Chinese team offered 4m for Mustafi (somehow worth 22m in-game) but that is too low, rather just keep him in the team so I can blame him for all the problems I have in the game and in my life.

Budget is only 10m so I had to adjust it and then after I sold Xhaka I had about 45m.
Teams still want way too much for some players but I got Van De Beek pretty cheap, 25m.
He looks solid but not amazing at this stage.
Got Benardeschi on loan as I don't really like playing Auba on the left, but I'll start him there and see how he goes.
I got Asensio on loan accepted but I forgot about that injury he had so that was a no go and got rejected.
Signed Bella-Kotchap, Mohamed Daramy and Thomas Buitink. All three look quite promising and paying 10m combined all 3 which isn't too bad.

Would love to have the editor to see some PA's but it isn't available yet.

Saka looks pretty good already so he'll get some chances.
Really need another CB but not sure when I'll get one.

Edit: Shouldn't have started this so late at night, didn't really go as in-depth as I should have, Guendouzi looks good and probably don't need Van De Beek.
 
****ing Ozil's wages are making him very hard to move.
I don't use an AMC so it's hard to fit him in.

Just got an offer from United for 14m which is ridiculously low but I accepted it but the board blocked it.
I tried to speak to the board but they said 30m is the lowest they'd take.
This is ****ing bullshit, no one is gonna ****ing pay 30m considering his wages.

Dembele just rejected me about 2 weeks ago as I wasn't a big enough club.
Now he's angry at Celtic for not being able to join Arsenal.
Righto.

Won first EPL game 3-2 to West Ham.
Kolasinac got sent off and they equalised not long after.
Auba hit the post in the 94th minute and then Torreira scored in the 95th minute.
The corner had an unusual vibe about it, felt like something would happen.
 
I'm doing alright but anyone that has played in the striker position for me have not scored.
Laca 0 in 4, Auba 0 in 3, young bloke 0 in 3 etc.
Auba has 4 from a wing but would be nice for the striker to actually chip in.
I'm winning but it concerns me.
 
I don't really get how PA's are made on this game.
Greenwood, yes he's promising etc, but why is his PA 179 when you got Martinelli for example who has shown a lot more, yet his PA is like 150.
The board also needs to butt out of shit, big time.
10m for one of the best young prospects in the world? Nah, 2.5m, max.
**** off.

Hotfix that just came out fixes the match engine substantially.

Finally playing some good football.
Three points ahead of Liverpool with 9 games to go, won the Carling Cup and still in CL.
Got the board to get Skriniar and Sterling which is cool.
Could have got Sancho myself but opted against it to get Sterling.
I just thought Sterling would be better but Sancho should end up as good and he's 6 years younger.
Ah well.

Rakitic won a bundle of awards, Ballon d'or etc, best signing I have ever made.
Haaland started slowly but has 6 in 8, 25m was cheap as **** for someone as young and as good as him.
Worth 56m now.
I don't know what I really need, maybe another CB and a better LB as Tierney is so-so.
Depending on the muny I get will determine who I sign. Pepe has 25 in 26 which is crazy and I don't wanna change a winning formula, but this tactic does favour the right side so maybe I'll even upgrade him.
