So Kane thinks Sydney have five A-graders to our two 🤔 Okey-dokey
You could generously accept this as a complimentary to the quality of our team play ie a team of A graders beaten by an A grade team. However as it’s Cornes, who has previously criticised Fagan for not winning enough flags with a team “stacked with talent” (or words to that effect), you have to accept he is just a flog. Not credible on anything to do with Brisbane.

So apparently I cant go to Sen anymore from NZ, it just redirects me to a new NZ page for sports that doesnt acknowledge AFL at all...

I wouldn't be surprised if the tea boy made up the lists and it's too irrelevant to bother with in any detail but to suggest Harris isn't an A Grader immediately disposes it of any credibility.

It explains how we can afford to bring on Oscar Allen, when we have so few A Graders on our list? 😒

I suppose four Lions was just a bridge to far for Cornes. Just two makes more sense to him
Most likely just about clicks again for Cornes

No Andrews? No clue!

For the seventh straight season, general admission tickets will remain priced at $27 for adults at both the MCG and Marvel Stadium.

Omg. What a tool

How can he not rate Harris and zorko. Both outstanding in the premiership team that played the best football (all-be-it in patches) throughout the entire season and finals.

I could maybe accept him saying that about Zorko if he talked about he was last year but going into the next year at his age he predicts he'll drop off.

But saying Andrews isnt is either him trying to justify his bizarre omission from the AA team last year, or showing his bias against the Lions. I normally suspect him of throwing a few odd calls to drum up controversy, but I feel that he usually does that with big team players to get the pushback. He doesnt normally do that with lions players who are off broadway too much

Yes. I can accept Zorko, who like Dangerfield are in the twilight of their careers, being dropped from the list. Still very good and valuable players, arguable not in the top 40. It’s Andrew’s not being included that gets me.

I'm starting to smell that perhaps the golden years for the AFL empire may have reached its zenith. The Tasmanian project looks very shaky, in its current form it won't get through two houses of parliament, presided over by a highly minority government, many believe it was always set up to fail. So, no more expansion.

FOXTEL sold to a European entity who won't value broadcast rights as highly. Ticket prices frozen to keep up attendances despite recent high inflation (a nod to them being exorbitant in the first place). And now the complete collapse of junior footy teams in Western Sydney. Not being an international sport always meant they would reach peak AFL, the signs are all around if you look for them.
