Watching First Crack and they said since round 14, the top 9 teams when playing the bottom 9 teams, the top teams have won 34 of 35 (Swans beating Freo the exception) which is pretty damning at the gulf between the two.
Nothing will ever beat Kingy's analysis of the win-record of top 8 teams against each other though

Twenty years ago today. Mal Michael shows us what he really thinks of the Sunday Mail.

Alternately: Mal Michael holds his own in the back pocket.

5 Lions in the 22 Under 22 squad, and I thin 4 of the 5 would make the final cut (Levi to miss out).

It say's alot about Carlton that they have no nominations, and won't get any in the All Australian squad either

Fantastic sign re our future prospects. :D

I'll have a go picking the final 22, have not seen a lot of some of them so would be going off the general overall opinion of them. I tried to keep them all in the areas of the field they were listed in. They didn't list a specialist ruck, I suppose not many pure rucks are playing regular senior footy at 22 and under.

Darcy Wilmot, Connor O'Sullivan, Max Michalanney.
Jaspa Fletcher, Josh Weddle, Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.

Patrick Voss, Will Ashcroft, Finn Callaghan.
Nick Daicos, Jake Soligo, Daniel Curtin.

Darcy Jones, Aaron Cadman, Murphy Reid.
Sam Darcy, Logan Morris, Jack Ginnivan.

Bailey Humphrey, Ollie Dempsey, Levi Ashcroft, Paul Curtis.

In line with the Roar Deals investigative work on the upside down twos and other random quirks, one thing that has bugged me is why for the past couple of years, on the AFL ladder, Gold Coast and GWS’s nicknames are in caps locks, yet all other teams whose nicknames are listed aren’t. Anyone know why?
It's just branding. That's how they decided to portray their names when they joined the comp and the AFL aligns with that.

It still looks stupid having inconsistencies in the names. Similarly it looks stupid half having their nickname(mascot?) will Collingwood/Hawthorn/Freo dont.

Lets hope we put this scenario to bed with a win tomorrow night

5 – Brisbane

Remaining games: Fremantle (OS), Hawthorn (Gabba).
Doomsday – 9th: Lose to both Dockers and Hawks.
THEN.
R23: -
R24: Giants def Saints.

“Food for thought.”
In 2024, Fremantle travelled for a total of 80 hours across the season, while West Coast travelled for 77 hours, landing in first and second for distance covered across the entire year.
Collingwood travelled for just 25 hours across six away days, with the Western Bulldogs (19 hours) experiencing the least travel across the season.

i hate this from the club - instead of belly aching about betting odds and lack of media coverage how about we actually ensure we get representatives onto the all australian and rising star panels?

Did this come from somewhere, or your handiwork?
I know it’s hypothetical because the AFL won’t do it, but i wouldn’t be having relegation from Div.2. Our game is not geared that way - the gap is too big to whatever the next level is.

Some Facebook page

What I took from it was our record against teams that played well last year
