Yes it is bewildering why sexual assault of minors is to a large degree treated so leniently. I am against the death penalty but in certain particularly abhorrent cases I could be persuaded to support it eg. Daniel Morcombe.Sick news confirmed regarding Jeffrey Corfe (Joffa)’s past. How he isn’t doing jail time is beyond me.

The bolded is true over most of the world IMO. These sort of sick Psychopaths purposefully seek out positions of power.... although we do have to keep in mind that most sexual assaults of minors are perpetrated by people they know.I have had a belief for a long time that there must a decent number of pedophiles in positions of power within this country. Judges, politicians etc. It's the only reason I can think of why we would treat them so leniently. The most heinous crimes committed against the most vulnerable & innocent, yet they continually get away with a slap on the wrist and the victim carries the impact for life.
First of all there is no question that there are people in positions of power, particularly in the judiciary who many suspect have links to paedophelia. I don't think I can get sued for saying that .The bolded is true over most of the world IMO. Too late for Lachir. Carlton have 2 Brownlows this century, and both are compromised. The Cripps loophole now closed.
One year late for Neale.
..............
Outgoing AFL CEO Gill McLachlan said last year he was "very agitated" by the Appeals Board's decision, saying it was "frustrating to have a legal view about due process or procedural fairness - a complete nonsense - really affect a clear mandate to protect the head".

'Not a court proceeding': AFL cracks down on Cripps Tribunal loophole
The AFL has moved to close the loophole that saw Patrick Cripps win his appeal against the Tribunal last yearwww.afl.com.au
Melbourne Storm have been getting kicking training from AFL teams for years. Smart of the Dolphins to do the sameDaniel Rich has been helping out at the newest NRL franchise The Dolphins offering some training and advice to the halves kicking skills.
Would also think that League clubs would get AFL kicking help for promising players when they were younger as well.Melbourne Storm have been getting kicking training from AFL teams for years. Smart of the Dolphins to do the same
Geelong Cats trained at the Broadbeach ground this afternoon and reports are around 1000 people turned up to watch ...from the pics posted on the Broadbeach facebook page I would say this crowd estimate was spot on ..
I wonder if Gold Coast get a bit p!ssed when a visiting team get more fans at a training session.
Geelong, Collingwood, Richmond, etc…Geelong is a very popular club around Australia, especially in SE Queensland with so many ex-Victorians living here.

Geelong has just won a Premiership so a lot of their Qld fans would want to come and see them.I wonder if Gold Coast get a bit p!ssed when a visiting team get more fans at a training session.
Any mention of the Pee in the cup? Some really good insights from Tom Rockliff on the Roar Deal, admits his mistakes and his views on his time at and departure from the Lions are interesting, the hot pie Browny incident even gets a mention.... well worth the listen.
No, he did say he did a few things that that he is not proud of looking back and that he was immature. It is a good listen, very open and honest from Rocky.. he is living back in Brisbane now as well, said he was looking forward to getting along to the Gabba and cheering on the Lions.Any mention of the Pee in the cup?
