I know I am in the minority but I am a big fan of Eddie
It's the minorities that usually end up having problems with Eddie...

Its pretty interesting watch the generational changes in my partners family. They come from South America and its really interesting to see the differences in who wholly grew up South America, who came as a child (and had diet changes) and now the next generation here. They are all getting way taller very quickly with improved diet and other outcomes.

There is also some other stat about the rise in poor eye sight due to the World Wars. Guys with bad eyesight were more likely to not go off to war and hence bred their genes more.

Personally have been shocked here and there when met former AFL ruckman from past generations and realised I was about the same height as them, but then I meet Charlie Cameron and he's my height
The same is happening with the various Asian communities in Australia, particularly those in families that embrace and mix in a western diet.

Was really a nothing to see incident. Link here for those interested.
That’d mean it’s also the anniversary of the blackface incident. Someone bump the thread. I want to relive the memories of the best thread in the history of bigfooty.
Nah, that was the “Susie peeing in the shower” thread. Absolute gold!

The project must pass through two votes of state parliament and be assessed by the Tasmanian Planning Commission.

Tasmania's government failed to consult with key stakeholders before choosing the site for a proposed stadium in Hobart, a parliamentary committee has found.

There was also no evidence provided to the committee about the basis for assumptions in business-case models, including about the number of expected events.

The RSL has raised concerns about the stadium potentially overshadowing the nearby cenotaph, while TasWater runs a sewage treatment plant on the site.

As a Tasmanian, 7 NRL matches is... how do I put this politely... ambitious?

Have been up on the GC for the last 10 days and driving my little rental car back to the airport yesterday I came up behind a 4x4 driving there too, it had a Lions sticker on the back, silly I know but I smiled......and then when waiting for my flight who do I see, the great man himself, one Jonathan Brown....only he went to the pointy end of the plane, I was back where us plebs sit...

My heart was a fluttering:grinv1:

..he is an impressive looking beast, just stood out from everyone else, a real presence about him. loved that he was chatting away to an older couple, didn't seen stand-offish at all, just mingled and waited around to board like the rest of us..

Us Lions are everywhere:)

I made this into a proper meme today. I believe I got the translation right.

You can just see the players getting revved up during Fages' half time speech when he brings out this classic ... "No boys you remember when that legendary coach Jean-Paul Sartre quoted 3KZ is Football saying... 'COLLISION LA LIGNE DE %#@ PERIMETRE' ... now let's guillotine these mongrels!"

What a great idea. It would be better than Some lame reference to Oppenheimer.

Named has changed by deed poll, it is now Floppenheimer.
Ken was building up towards his ‘Barbie’ analogies. He feels personally invested there.
