Funnily enough though, if you asked me what kind of bowler Oscar would be....If you asked me which type of bowler an AFL ruck would be, spin would not feature in my first three guesses
MowerLawn.
Premiers already receive prize money. McClelland Trophy had been all about overall club strength since cocky was an egg.
Section 5 I can understand the angst, but that is the nature of the award, isn't it?
I had to look back to 1970 when the three VFL Premiers were Carlton (Seniors), Melbourne (Reserves) and Richmond (Under 19s) - yet Collingwood won the McClelland Trophy.
You can win premierships (or minor premierships), and still miss out on this award.
Perhaps the modern weightings could alter?
Under the changes, Bell has taken up the new role of executive general manager of football talent, strategy and special projects.
"Special projects"This is indeed a feather in his cap. What a promotion!!
Dockers appoint new football boss as Bell moves into different role

This is what happens at my work when they want to get rid of someone without sacking them."Special projects"![]()
Does he know if he was home or away I wonder.![]()
Demon tests positive to cocaine after home and away game
Joel Smith will step away from Melbourne's football program as the AFL and Sport Integrity Australia investigate his positive testwww.afl.com.au
Yep, and in a few years we will simply rinse and repeat with a 6th player being named as a sub, before a couple of years after that they just become another normal interchange player.I imagine when/if this comes in, the coaches will still argue they are disadvantaged when injury occurs.
We had one player out of the game the opposition had a full bench of 4 for rotations.
We win that game if we had a sub rule.
Having said that i would prefer no sub or vest type bench player.
“No reason it can’t happen now”: Clubs renew push to end the sub once and for all
Could there be a change to the sub rule?www.sen.com.au
