The goals of the week videos from 2018 and 2019 made their way into my algorithm on YouTube and I've been watching a few. Plenty of blasts from the past in the team. Watching them also had a different feel with the lack of goal songs and the quiet and small crowds

I like the idea of moving back to playing all teams only once to get a "fairer" fixture than the current version.

I think filling the other games with an FA cup is stupid.

Agree, when the Devils come in I'd go with play each other once + a rivalry round ie. QClash, Showdown, Pies v Blues etc.

Although we will have an odd number of teams so that probably won't work.

Dunks has american sport brain and is a fan of it for some reason. I don't follow the NBA but my understanding is that people think their in season tournament is stupid?

How could you do it four more times? And how do they know he did it four more times and have not made it clear enough after the first “hey can’t wear those, use other boots”. Do they note it down and not provide feedback each time or has Keays intentionally ignored the rule after being told so. Makes little sense to me.

Agree. I would like to say that IMO Barrie Robran was the best footballer I have seen play the game. I grew up in Adelaide watching him (I'm 7 years younger) as an opposition player & he could do it all. Unfortunately, my other favourite, Lethal in a state game ran through his knee and destroyed it. He did end up playing again but was never the same.

Would much rather North than the Saints. The only thing that puts them above others is their willingness to overpay significantly.

You’d suspect Gold Coast will start rising too given the lifestyle and beaches and the changing fortunes of the club with a rising list that should be a perennial finalist like we’ve been since 2019.
