I like the idea of moving back to playing all teams only once to get a "fairer" fixture than the current version.I'm not a fan of the proposed FA Cup style tournament being floated/leaked to come into affect when the Devils come into the competition.
What are our highly intelligent posters thoughts on it?

Agree, when the Devils come in I'd go with play each other once + a rivalry round ie. QClash, Showdown, Pies v Blues etc.I like the idea of moving back to playing all teams only once to get a "fairer" fixture than the current version.
I think filling the other games with an FA cup is stupid.
Although we will have an odd number of teams so that probably won't work.I'm not a fan of the proposed FA Cup style tournament being floated/leaked to come into affect when the Devils come into the competition.

It would not be possible for us to play the Suns in a prelim if that ladder eventuated.Knock off our bunnies at the MCG.
Then host the Suns at the Gabba, easy win.
Then redemption against the Pies at the G.
And our bogey team finishes 9th.
How could you do it four more times? And how do they know he did it four more times and have not made it clear enough after the first “hey can’t wear those, use other boots”. Do they note it down and not provide feedback each time or has Keays intentionally ignored the rule after being told so. Makes little sense to me.![]()
Crows pair fined, club sanctioned for defying metal studs ban
Adelaide and two of its players have been fined for ignoring AFL warnings about wearing metal studs in their bootswww.afl.com.au
Keays copped a heftier punishment after being caught wearing metal studs in four more games since receiving an initial warning from the AFL, while Rachele was also fined after wearing illegal boots two more times.

On the Gold Coast now and I have thought about heading to Brisbane for the game tomorrow night, but I’ll watch it on TV from here. Brisbane, Noosa, Hervey Bay, K’Gari and Gold Coast. Packed a bit in. Me and my new suntan are flying back to freezing Melbourne on Saturday. Going straight from the airport to the Northcote Social Club to see The Fauves. Living my best life. Are you fronting up for another Gabba game?
Seeing you used QLD instead of Brisbane you might be too far away.

I’ll be back in Brisbane for the Finals.
Love it up here.
People would’ve thought you were mad years ago if you suggested that we’d be a destination club:

You’d suspect Gold Coast will start rising too given the lifestyle and beaches and the changing fortunes of the club with a rising list that should be a perennial finalist like we’ve been since 2019.
